After studying fashion design, I spent years on set as a stylist. I was always the one altering things, making something feel more like me.

not seen came from a feeling I kept noticing in people around me, the quiet sense of not being seen. I used to think that needed fixing. Now I don't. A star has already been shining for thousands of years before its light reaches us. It doesn't wait to be discovered.

Starting not seen was a dream I wasn't sure I was allowed to have. The idea of building something entirely my own felt overwhelming and inevitable at the same time.

I first worked with our maker 6 years ago. We built something good together from the start. When it came time to bring not seen to life, there was only one person I wanted to call.

Every piece is made in small batches, in a factory where I know the people and the process. Ethically made, no excess inventory, no waste.

We reach for natural materials wherever we can. Cotton and other natural fabrics are our starting point. That said, some pieces call for something more, and in those cases we choose materials carefully, for function and longevity rather than convenience.
